Mark
MANAGER of EXECUTIVE OUTDOOR LIVING, LLC
Mark is the founding Manager of Executive Outdoor Living, LLC, which he started as a single-person mowing operation from his parents' garage, and has since grown into a full-service, multi-division, forty plus employee operation under his exceptional leadership. Despite his extensive responsibilities, Mark remains hands-on and passionate about creating beautiful properties for all clients, while also holding multiple certifications and licenses in the industry.
Mark’s day-to-day schedule varies. He could be at a jobsite, working in the office, training a new crew member, meeting with a potential client, and choosing a new outdoor furniture line, all within the same day! As a business manager, Mark doesn’t always have a lot of free time, but when he does, he likes to maximize it. He travels with his family, spends as much time with his kids, and enjoys his backyard oasis.
Jake
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Jake is our big idea guy. He’s part landscape designer, part project manager, and full passion for living life outdoors. With almost two decades at Executive Outdoor Living, Jake manages several crews who all work diligently to bring his visions to life, from Wi-Fi-controlled landscape lighting to swim-up bars to a beer fridge in an outdoor kitchen. Jake loves challenges, and creating an outdoor living space that perfectly fits a client’s needs is always a high for him.
When Jake’s not at work, it’s still a guarantee that you’ll find him outside. If he’s not maintaining his acreage, spending time with his family in their backyard, or golfing, he’s smoking up a variety of meats on his smoker. His love of outdoor living shines through every conversation and his knack for creating the perfect outdoor space for every client keeps us all very busy!
Shane
ESTIMATOR
Shane’s worked in almost every role in the lawn & tree care industries over the course of his 40-year career, and that wealth of knowledge has made him the best estimator we have! As a former lawn specialist, he can easily identify what’s wrong with your yard and create a program to help revitalize it. As a certified arborist, Shane can quickly see exactly what tree limbs need to be trimmed or identify which treatment would bring a tree back to perfect health. We could go on and on, but Shane likes to be efficient, so we’ll just say, “If you’ve got a problem, Shane can probably help.”
When Shane’s off the clock, he’s in relaxation mode. He loves spending time with his grandkids, boating, watching movies, and barbequing. His reverence for relaxing means he’s always determined to be quick and efficient during the workday. He’s no-nonsense and will help you determine exactly what you need, no gimmicks or upsells.
Jason
POOL & IRRIGATION SERVICE MANAGER
With over two decades in the landscape industry, Jason’s learned a lot of different skill sets. Currently, he’s our pool & irrigation specialist. This job includes a lot of different tasks to balance, from plumbing for new pools to sprinkler repairs to installing water features. Jason is known for his attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride, and those traits are evident in every project he completes.
On days when Jason’s not at work, he enjoys fishing with his kids, grilling up some barbeque, and hanging out with his family. He also works on projects around his house, trying to complete a honey-do list that mysteriously continues to grow.
Pete
TURF HEALTH MANAGER
Pete has almost twenty years of experience in the lawn & landscape fields. He started with field maintenance for high school and college baseball fields, and that evolved to head grounds crew for a sports complex. Now, he does chemical treatments for our residential and commercial customers, keeping lawns across the Omaha Metro healthy and vibrant. This includes math at every step, from figuring out new customer rates, creating different formulations of products, and determining when to put what products down.
Outside of work, Pete loves being with his kids, either coaching their sports or hanging out at home. He also loves his volunteer work with Blair Little League, taking care of the baseball fields. His dedication to lawn health is literally a part of his life every single day, and that commitment shows in every aspect of his job. Pete treats every yard like it’s his own.
Blake
CERTIFIED ARBORIST & PLANT HEALTH CARE
As a certified arborist, Blake has over a decade of knowledge and experience caring for trees and plants. Every year, he attends classes to learn more about the always-developing industry and keeps his certifications up to date. With his training and expertise, Blake can identify a myriad of tree and plant health issues, create a treatment plan, and bring them back to peak health.
On the weekends, Blake loves spending time with his family, dogs, and friends. Like most of our crew, you’ll most likely find him outside, enjoying his pool or grilling up a tasty dinner. Blake also loves travelling and always has the next fun trip already on the calendar.
Jason
RETAIL MANAGER
While the rest of our crew is out in the field, Jason is holding down the fort at our retail store. As our pool expert, he can troubleshoot your pool issues and make sure everything’s running perfectly before your next pool party. And with a decade of experience in the pool industry, he can’t help but share a few tips and tricks to keep your pool sparkling clean. He enjoys helping clients with the big and small issues and loves a new challenge.
When Jason’s not at the store, he’s relaxing at home. He loves going on walks with his wife or going out with her to try a new restaurant in town. He also spends a lot of time in his backyard, catching up on yard work and keeping everything in good condition. He appreciates spending time outdoors, and always has great recommendations on the best furniture to go on your patio or the type of mulch that would make your landscape beds pop!
